How Magician's Do Sleight of the Hand
One of the main things an aspiring magician learns at the beginning of their career is how to do sleight of hand. This is where they do some no win no fee accident of "finger trickery" that you don't notice in order to get the desired results in a magic trick. In this article I'm going to show you how sleight of hand is used and also why it's so important to 1961 Topps baseball cards it.
This isn't really a specific technique, but more of a large collection of techniques that a magician can use - like a big library that they can pick and choose from. Sleight of hand is used in card magic, coin magic, and pretty much any other kind of magic.
So how do they learn it? Well, lots and lots of practice for one. There are a variety of different types of sleights from palming and ditching, to misdirection and simulation. Each type has a few common techniques involved in it that a magician would spend hours practicing.
If you want to learn sleight of hand yourself, the best thing to do is to Spider-Man movie out exactly what type of magic you want to do and then get some resources on it. So if you were into card magic then do a search on Google for the Royal Road to Card Magic which is an excellent book/DVD collection that teaches you all the techniques and sleights needed to perform it successfully.
Of course once you've learned all the basic sleights, there are the more advanced ones. There are some things you can do with objects like cards and coins that you wouldn't even believe - trickery that will have people freaked out beyond your wildest dreams. You just have to get out there and get learning!
