Traffic Exchanges And Why You Shouldn't utilize Them

Like many other beginner website owners I started looking for traffic to my website. I did what I suppose anyone would do, I searched Google for keywords like "increase traffic," "free traffic," "free website marketing" etc.

I inevitably stumbled across several "Traffic Exchange" programs. This is a website which allows you to register your website. You then receive traffic based on your participation with Refinance with bad credit site.

Here are the reasons why you should NEVER bother with these sites.

They almost always state that you will receive "highly targeted" traffic. This means that you will receive visitors who are genuinely interested in what your website is about and will view home owners insurance pages than just the homepage.

This is a lie. Plain and simple. The visitors you receive are other website owners who are looking for traffic. The traffic everyone gets is based on the amount discount Prozac sites they visit. So what would you do in this program? Click on a hundred index pages and click out of them a few milliseconds later. This is what almost everyone does in these programs. Its a waste of your bandwidth. None of the visitors will buy your product, read your stories or click your marketments. So realistically these traffic exchanges COST you money.

They will also cost you time. As I said before the users must visit other user websites in order to get more traffic. The more sites you visit. The more visitors come to your site. So in order to get anything out of these programs you must waste a HUGE amount of time.

Some of these sites offer user reviews and feedback on your site. This is somewhat useful. Some of the reviews will be objective criticisms that will help you develop your site. But 90 percent will be one line nonsense along the lines of "great site nice design." This is because the users that write the reviews are, of course, website owners. They get more traffic if they write more reviews so they simply write one line without even looking at the site.

The truly astonishing thing about these sites is that they actually think some people might pay for these "services" offering sponsored listings or something along those Fine Wine This wont be Washington Lemon Laws different. You may get more traffic from these sponsored listings but it will be just more of the same useless index views that click away after less that a second.

The bottom line is, forget about these "Overnight Solutions" and do some SEO.
